Southstar Drug, Maxicare turn over donation to UP Health Service

As part of its commitment to helping improve community health, Southstar Drug, in partnership with Maxicare Healthcare Corporation, turned over medical equipment to the University of the Philippines Diliman Health Service (UPHS) last November 14, 2023.

The donation, raised from the successful Run for Wellness event in August, will help enhance the capabilities of the UPHS towards delivering quality healthcare services to the UP Diliman community.

Facilitating the turnover were General Manager Mariel Crisostomo and Deputy General Manager Thaddeus Sanchez, while UP Diliman Vice Chancellor Roehl Jamon and UPHS Director Dr. Myrissa Melinda Alip received the donation.

“We believe that a healthy community is a thriving community, and we hope that through this donation, we are able to create positive impact and contribute to improving the well-being of the communities we serve," said Mariel Crisostomo.
