Last October 22, 2019, Scentence opened its first shop in shop at Robinsons Department Store in Robinsons Place Manila. Through a subsidiary, Robinsons Retail brought the brand to the Philippines in partnership with Emart Co. Ltd., South Korea’s largest multi-format retailer and the parent company of Scentence.
Scentence, which was launched in 2017 in South Korea and continuously expanding in overseas locations such as Saudi Arabia and Mongolia, focuses on an organic approach to personal care that makes use of natural extracts and compounds from plants. Its name, a portmanteau of the words “scent” and "sentence", comes from the brand concept of “expressing one’s personality through a favorite scent.” In line with this, the brand works closely with global master perfumers in its product development, paying special attention to the olfactory experience of personal care and beauty.
