Robinsons Retail recognizes 85 long-serving colleagues at 2026 Service Awards

Forty-six years after Mr. John L. Gokongwei Jr. founded Robinsons Retail in 1980, three of its leaders joined long-serving colleagues in receiving recognition at the company’s 2026 Service Awards, held on October 5 at its headquarters in Quezon City.

Among the 85 awardees recognized for 25 years or more of service were JG Summit Holdings, Inc. Chairman and Robinsons Retail Vice Chairman James L. Go (46 years), Robinsons Retail Chairman Robina Gokongwei Pe (41 years), and Gokongwei Group Head and Robinsons Retail Board Director Lance Y. Gokongwei (38 years).

Also honored for 38 years of service were Group General Manager for Robinsons Easymart and Uncle John's Erneliza Lim-De Jesus and Toys "R" Us Philippines Operations Manager Dennis Navato, the company’s longest-serving employees.

In his message to the awardees, President and CEO Stanley Co (22 years with the company) described being a student and mentee as one of his most fulfilling roles, crediting the three leaders and former Robinsons Retail Supermarket Segment Managing Director Jody Gadia.

“Robinsons has always kept me curious, challenged me to grow, and surrounded me with people who pushed me to become better,” said Mr. Co.

Also present were JG Summit Chief Human Resources Officer Gully Go and Robinsons Retail Independent Directors Cirilo Noel, Cesar Romero, Enrico Cruz, Rodolfo Ang, and Manolito Tayag.

Mr. James L. Go, the youngest brother of Mr. John L. Gokongwei Jr., has helped guide Robinsons Retail since its inception. He thanked his fellow awardees for their years of service and expressed hope that Robinsons Retail would continue to grow for 100 years and beyond.
