Toys"R"Us PH caps 2nd year of Junior Toy Crew program

Toys"R"Us Philippines capped the second year of its Junior Toy Crew program with a culminating event held on June 3, 2026 at Kidzooona, Robinsons Galleria in Quezon City.
Conducted over six weeks across six select Toys”R”Us stores, the three-day workshop welcomed batches of 10 kids per session and introduced them to the retail experience through hands-on activities such as cashiering, gift wrapping, welcoming and assisting customers, and arranging merchandise displays.
Guided by the Toys”R”Us’ CREW pillars – Creativity, Relationship, Engagement, and World of Play – the program gave Junior Toy Crew members a first-hand look at how store teams create engaging experiences for customers and families.
“Junior Toy Crew gives kids a chance to learn by doing, while experiencing the store in a fun and familiar way. That’s what it means to ‘Live Toyful’ – to stay curious, creative, kind, and full of joy every day,” said Deputy General Manager Christine Yturralde-Sanchez.
“Toys“R”Us has always been part of many childhoods, and Junior Toy Crew allows us to bring that connection to life while also helping build confidence, curiosity, and social skills,” said Group General Manager Carmina Quizon.
As part of the program, Toys“R”Us also donated Php100,000 to Save the Children Philippines, together with 50 Huggable Bears from Playkit Philippines.
