Food Segment gathers 500+ store leaders for 2026 assembly

Robinsons Retail’s Food Segment gathered more than 500 store and area leaders from across its store network for its 2026 Store Managers’ Assembly, held on April 6 and 7 in Talisay, Batangas. The network includes 370 stores under Robinsons Supermarket, The Marketplace, Shopwise, and Robinsons Easymart, as well as over 400 Uncle John’s stores.
The two-day event featured business updates, discussions on current macroeconomic conditions, and planning sessions focused on store operations and cross-banner synergies.
“Store managers are not just implementing instructions. They are making decisions every day on assortment, execution, service, and team management. It is important that they understand not only what needs to be done in store but also the larger business context behind those priorities,” said Managing Director for Big Formats Christine Tueres.
“In retail, execution is where plans are tested. Bringing managers together lets us discuss what is working, where the pressure points are, and how teams are responding. That shared understanding is important if we want to operate with greater discipline and continue improving the customer experience,” said Group General Manager for Small Formats Erneliza De Jesus.
The event also recognized the segment’s top-performing stores and store managers. Robinsons Easymart in Baler, Aurora received the 2025 Store Performance Award, the segment’s top recognition for overall performance excellence.
