Toys“R”Us, Pokémon unveil 1st Pokémon Play Hub in PH

Toys"R"Us Philippines, in partnership with The Pokémon Company, launched the first-ever Pokémon Play Hub in the Philippines last October at Robinsons Galleria.

Designed to immerse kids, families, and fans across generations in the world of Pokémon, the newly opened spot features several themed zones, including a Trading Card Game (TCG) Play Area where visitors can learn how to play the Pokémon TCG and join beginner classes on weekends; a Play and Display Zone where kids can relax and enjoy Pokémon animated content; and a Retail Zone where fans can explore a wide array of official and exclusive Pokémon merchandise.

“Play is a universal language that brings people together and helps build communities around shared interests. Spaces like this let families and fans discover something new, and reflect how we continue to create fresh experiences for our customers,” said Deputy General Manager Christine Yturralde-Sanchez.

Present at the opening were The Pokémon Company Asia Business Development Director Ray Kagami; Robinsons Malls Marketing and Operations VP Joel Lumanlan; and Robinsons Retail Group General Managers Carmina Quizon and Celina Chua, and Deputy GM Sanchez.
