Rose Pharmacy's 6th annual run rallies 4,000 in fight against childhood cancer

Rose Pharmacy held its 6th annual Cancer Warriors Run on July 20, 2025 in Cebu City, drawing over 4,000 runners in support of children battling cancer.
This year’s event raised Php 1 million, which was turned over to the Cancer Warriors Foundation, Inc to help fund cancer awareness efforts, medical and psychosocial care, education, and support programs for pediatric cancer patients and their families.
Among the runners was Philip Villegas, a cancer survivor who was diagnosed at age eight and declared cancer-free at 14. “Grateful ko nakaapil ani nga run. Nya thankful sad ko nga daghan nangapil karon para sa mga bata nga naay cancer,” said Villegas. [“I’m grateful I got to join this run. I am also thankful that so many participated this year (to support) kids with cancer.”]
“We started this run with one goal in mind — to help alleviate the plight of children with cancer, a mission that every runner, every year, has been a part of,” said General Manager Michael So.
