Robinsons Retail CEO honored by UST business school

Robinsons Retail President and CEO Stanley Co recently attended the University of Santo Tomas (UST) College of Commerce and Business Administration’s (CCBA) Solemn Investiture rites, held on June 13, 2025, at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion in España, Manila. The event celebrated the graduation of 661 students from the college’s undergraduate programs.
A 1998 graduate of UST CCBA with a degree in Commerce major in Economics, Co was awarded the De-Kalibreng Ka-Komersyo Inspiration Award 2025, which honors alumni who have made a meaningful impact in the business community.
Robinsons Retail Chairman Robina Gokongwei-Pe also attended the ceremony and, together with Co, assisted UST Vice Rector for Research and Innovation Rev. Fr. Jannel Abogado, O.P., CCBA Regent Rev. Fr. Senen Ecleo, O.P., Dean Al Faithrich Navarrete, Assistant Dean Francis Lawrence De Jesus, and Alumni Foundation VP Lourdes Obillo in conferring degrees to the graduating class.
Earlier in the week, Robinsons Retail hosted a group of CCBA students at its HQ as part of an alumni mentorship program organized by the college. Accompanied by Dean Navarette, Assistant Dean De Jesus, and faculty members James Romulus Buzon and Peter Rico Wong, the students met with Gokongwei-Pe, Co and other Robinsons officials Gabriel Tagala III, Christine Tueres, Erneliza De Jesus, and Kerwin Legarde. The session gave students the opportunity to ask questions about leadership, operations, and building lasting retail banners.
