Robinsons Retail volunteers support West Crame, 31 other schools under GBF Brigada Eskwela initiative

At Robinsons Retail, creating meaningful impact in the communities we serve is an important part of who we are.

In partnership with the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF), Robinsons Retail joined Brigada Eskwela at West Crame Elementary School on May 29, 2026, helping prepare classrooms and learning spaces for the opening of the new school year.

West Crame Elementary School is one of 32 beneficiary schools supported through Robinsons Retail’s partnership with the GBF Juan Community for Education. Employee volunteers helped clean classrooms and prepare learning spaces ahead of the students’ and teachers’ return for the academic year.

“Our stores are part of many communities, and we believe our role should extend beyond the business we do every day. Brigada Eskwela is one way our employees can contribute their time to efforts that matter to the neighborhoods around us,” said Corporate Planning VP and Sustainability Head Angelo Torres.

“We sincerely thank School Head Marina Aunzo, together with the teachers, learners, and the West Crame Elementary School community, for warmly welcoming our volunteers and for the opportunity to help with their preparations for the new school year,” said Chief Marketing Officer Angela Totanes.
