Spatio, SPARK, Swiss Embassy, QC LGU hold fundraiser for women's empowerment

In support of efforts to expand economic empowerment and inclusion for women, Spatio partnered with SPARK Philippines, in collaboration with the Quezon City Government and the Embassy of Switzerland in the Philippines, for a fundraising initiative held on September 19, 2025 at Opus Mall in Bridgetowne Destination Estate, Quezon City.
Proceeds from the activity will help fund programs of SPARK (Samahan ng mga Pilipina para sa Reporma at Kaunlaran, Inc.), a non-government organization dedicated to promoting gender equality and inclusive development. These initiatives aim to empower women entrepreneurs, encourage young women’s participation in sports and STEM, and help create livelihood and educational opportunities for female Persons Deprived of Liberty.
Among those present at the event were Philippine Department of Budget and Management Hon. Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, Swiss Ambassador H.E. Dr. Nicolas Brühl and his wife Dr. Denise Claudine Brühl Moser, and Quezon City Small Business Office Head Mona Celine Marie Yap, who represented Hon. Mayor Joy Belmonte, as well as SPARK Chairperson Boots Geotina-Garcia and Executive Director Mikaela Luisa Teves, together with Spatio and Robinsons Retail executives.
“We’re glad to do our part alongside SPARK, the Quezon City Government, and the Embassy of Switzerland in supporting programs that empower women,” said Spatio Deputy General Manager Martin De Leon.
