3,300+ join Naga leg of 14th Southstar run

Southstar Drug, in partnership with Maxicare Healthcare Corporation, concluded the Naga leg of its 14th annual Run for Wellness in September. Held in time for the Peñafrancia Festival, the event gathered more than 3,300 participants from across the region.

As part of its commitment to promoting equal access to healthcare, a portion of the event’s proceeds was donated to the Persons with Disability Affairs Office of the Naga City Government. The contribution will help fund programs that support the city’s PWDs.

Present at the run was Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, together with other local government officials and Robinsons Retail and Southstar executives.

“Our mission remains the same: to care for the health and wellness of Filipino communities. Our annual Run for Wellness embodies that mission by inspiring people to stay active and contribute to causes that make a difference,” said General Manager Thaddeus Sanchez.
