People remember that famous Buendia billboard decades ago—a brilliant campaign from Amon Trading, then one of the country’s largest construction and building materials distributors.

Amon has since diversified to other businesses and is now celebrating its 80th anniversary. Eight decades of strength and resilience.

Robinsons Retail is honored to celebrate alongside the Montinola and Recto families, whose vision and commitment have guided Amon Trading. Our collaboration began in 2007 through True Value Philippines, a partnership anchored on shared values of quality, service, and innovation.

This September, it comes full circle with the opening of a new True Value store in Iloilo City—the hometown of the Montinolas—in time for Amon’s 80th year.
