6,500 join 17th Robinsons Supermarket buddy run

Robinsons Supermarket held its 17th annual Fit & Fun Wellness Buddy Run on July 6, 2025 in Quezon City.
This year’s edition gathered over 6,500 runners and reinforced Robinsons Supermarket’s commitment to health and wellness—a core part of its Heart to Cart advocacy, which connects purpose-driven retail with community impact. The run also coincides with Robinsons Supermarket’s 40th anniversary year, marking four decades of empowering Filipino families with healthier and happier choices.
“The Buddy Run is part of how we bring our values to life—by encouraging healthy habits and creating shared experiences while supporting organizations that drive meaningful change,” said Group General Manager Kerwin Legarde.
Proceeds from the event supported partner organizations World Vision for their child sponsorship program, CORA (Communities Organized for Resource Allocation) for their sustainability and climate resilience programs, and Scholars of Sustenance for food rescue initiatives. Through its partnership with the CORA’s Eco-Ikot Center, nearly 900 kilograms of waste were collected and diverted from landfills and waterways along the run route.
